You could have made the CD image to your computer and used it.

Since the CD was lost (assuming you did not resell it) you probably can download The CD image from some torrent site.

However you do NOT have the right to sell neither the image, nor the disk you might burn the image into.

Sounds fair doesn't it? Buying the thing again sounds like going back to school from the first grade all over if you can't find your athestate.

Most people will dissagree with me, but IMHO game CD's are not bread that gets consumed. You pay for the game not the plastic disc.
