But I definitely still love those games from the mid-late 90's and early 2000, MM6-8 ofcourse, Resident Evil series (recent additions excluded) even some RTS Age of Empires, AOMythology, Rise of Nations, either of you ever play the first Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain? It's actually pretty similar to MM, I'd say as far as graphics it's much better than MM5, but a little shy of 6, even so it still has tons of quests, spells, deep storyline, you can(and sometimes have to) revisit towns to gain access to dungeons, bonuses you weren't powerful enough to get to before, they even have an "inventory" menu where you have the figure of Kain and just like the MM characters you can "dress him up" - put the various types of Armor/Weapons you find, wish I could put a screenshot on here cuz it reminded so much of MM. Only thing was Kain was the only character.

Anyhow, it is a shame tho so many games now do have that whole 3d look, which honestly fits some games, but I wish they wouldn't just abandon the old ways, luckily we have BDJ around to make mods.
