| To prevent instant death you must have Protection from Magic at GM level AND it only works for as many times as the power level. So if you cast Protection from magic and your Cleric is at level 10 in Body magic you are protected for 10 hits. You need to watch your characters portraits, when you are being protected from instant death the portrait flashes with some wavy lines. After 10 hits you need to recast the spell(Or however many levels of Body magic you have) |
