I was worried that I might get far in the game before the full promotions, and that I would only get Dark once the game was essentially over. Fortunately this isn't the case. Now I see why many players say that magic is stronger - it is SOO satisfying to waltz into the Titan Stronghold or Celeste without Invisibility, and to take down any monster with just two volleys from close range. This sure beats relying entirely on the bow and melee.
