The Water Master is no longer located in Nighon (poor ol'Maxim Dusk is in that houe all alone now). The Water master is located on board the ship that runs between Emerald Islands and the Mainland and she has a quest for you before she will grant you Master Water Magic . . same thing with Exapert Fire Magic (granted by the GM Fire Teacher on EI after completing a quest for him) Also you may have noticed the absence of Gate Nasters. THis is necause the Town Portal Spell had been temporarily corrupted by the baddies and must be restored . . this is part of the ArchMage Quest! The Master Fire Magic Teacher is now in Pierpont (in one of the tents there) and also has a quest for you before she will grant you that skill. Her husband, broken hearted over the loss of his brother, is alo wandering around Pierpont near the main stairs and will give you the Arcomage Cards and charge you to win the Arcomage championship in memory of his brother.
