If the monster is hit while it's doing its "I'm hit"-animation that animation won't start over. This trick only works if your character spends a little more time recovering from an attack than the monster spends recovering from a hit. With regards to blasters: If your characters are fast and hasted (why did you mention bless?) you are supposed to get that number of attacks; it's just not possible to hit A with a sufficiently high frequency, so you have to hold it down to keep up with your characters. And there's nothing special about the short pause it makes before you move into "machine gun mode". If I hold A down now in this very text field it makes a single a, then after a short while it will make a lot of them: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... If I, while I hold down A, press another key it stops: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaab even if I continue to hold down A. It works in the exact same way in the game. I do not know how this works in turn based mode, but I don't recall ever experiencing odd behaviour. Final remark: I find blasters very cheesy, but I think they work as intended. |
