That's not for me, but it seems as íf some people actually thinks it is a good idea. Armageddon wouldn't exist if it wasn't meant to be used. However, if you could put in a "ring of fire" as it works in MM6 ..... Shouldn't the enchant item also depend on the quality of the stuff you are trying to enchant? You shouldn't be able to give high quality enchantments to stuff that it is barely enchantable, no matter what your skill level is.
