Please, somebody help me figure out how to make the instalshield work! M&M VII is one of my all time favorite games--I love having my ever larger castle and having the light/dark choice affect the game's outcome--so somebody with teh l33t skillz help me. Thanks again for the advice on the RAM, even though 384mb is on the lower side I don't keep many programs running in the background. Even so, I closed more of them to get it down to 80mb or so of usage (according to the Windows Task Manager) and tried three installs giving them at least 20 minutes each to get going but none of them did. I do get the hourglass icon when I click on either the install button or the actual setup.exe icon for 5-15 seconds but nothing happens after that other than the setup.exe staying listed in the Windows Task Manager--it will stay listed until I stop the process or reboot. This is driving me crazy as they've always installed before and there's no new hardware so I can't figure out what's changed to make them not work.
