I am not sure about Paladin to Cleric, but I do know that Cleric to Paladin is an option because I used it. Also not sure about Sorcerer to Druid as I used Sorcered to Archer mostly. I also found that Thief to Knight was a good choice and I didn't dual my existing knight. I ended up with Champion, Champion/Thief, Hero/Priest of the the Light, and Master Archer/Sorcerer. A very powereful team both in meless and casting abilty. (NIce to see a thief in GM Plate)
