to install directx6. I always has those warning and ignore them-game diagnostics unaware about directx9 and CPU with speed like 3200 MHz,so just ignore. Directx6 ? -well aren't directx-s are backward compatible-meaning any fresher variant compatible with everything which was before. My wild bet directx6 installation attempt spoiled something.
