might I suggest the new Dodd the Slater's V2.0 Wizardry 9 mod. It is definitely NOT for the faint-hearted. New Quests, monsters, locations, terrain, modified story line, new armor, weapons, accesories, new NPCs and RPCs, etc. etc. . . in short, a completely revamped Wiz8. It is REALLY a challenge!
