the FinalRelease contained so many changes that saved games from all previous versions of the game are mostly incompatible with it. In order to play it correctly, as it was deigned, you have to start over (sigh). As the playtester for the FinalVersion, I found this out the hard way also. BTW if you do play a new game, look me up in the rear of the Weapons Dealer on Emerald Isle. I am the only one in the game that can advance your characters to Expert Bow and Warrior Mage!
