Well I made a backup of the save, and tried swapping in the final release version of the files. The game seemed to work ok, and it added a new quest (Kennel by queen catharine), but the fire expert is still home, and Lord Godwinson isn't. Sigh. No idea what to try, other than a new game, and I *don't* want to do that, I'm nearly done this one! |
