That reminds of a story attributed to Winston Churchill, who is reported to have said during a debate in the House of Commons "The Honourable Member has the manners of a pig." The Honourable Member referred to objected furiously, and the Speaker called on Churchill to withdraw his comment. Churchill rose, and said something like "I shall withdraw my remark. The Honourable Member does not have the manners of a pig!" - which of course sounds even worse.
