AFAIK the exit doors left and right should be the ones which shorten the period by two days. Well, I am not sure right now because I have played MM7 long ago. But I am sure that I was returning from Arena in 6 days not in 8 days.
It is essential to return sooner than in 8 days when you are playing a speedgame so that you can take next week coach to Arena again. It does not matter how you achieve it.
