Don't know how old you are Zedd, but pretty much everything I know I've just learned over the past year. I do have a computer background, (acutally I was going to school when I first came across MM6 back in '97, I almost flunked out cuz I was so addicted to the game I didn't do my homework) but it's in Networking so I guess it gave me somewhat of a "base" but believe me some of the "tests" Big Daddy gave me seemed impossible at first but I gave it a shot and once you get into it it's really not that hard. And again, let me point out, I'm still by no means a master, I have modded a few other games like "Age of Mythology" and "Rise of Nations" but I certainly don't consider myself a programmer, I do seem to have a knack for being able to "find my way" in modding as long as someone like BDJ points me in the right direction. So again, no pressure, but my offer still stands, but for sure I will let you know when I'm ready to Beta Test. BTW - just to let you know tho I haven't had alot of interest so far in my mod, I'm not saying this as a complaint it's just that I saw a post on "Heroes Round Table" about a MMWarlords project, and since there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest in what I'm doing I may put the MM6 mod on hold and join their team if they think I'd be of use, I think it will be a great opportunity for me to learn more and I can then use those skills to improve on my mod. |
