1. There is no dragon familiar since there is no Dark side in this mod. You will see why as you play it. Even though there is only a Light Side, all eligible spell casters will eventually get Dark Magic at the Master level. 2. On sual classing: All characters must be fully promoted to be eligible to dual class. It is recommended that you also fully develop their skills also since skills from the old class will no longer be upgradable once the character has changed his/her class. All skills and spells from the old class are transferable and useable by the new class, in addtion to the new skills the character might pick up by dual classing. It should be noted however, that changing a spell castr to a non-spell caster will cause all mana point to be lost since a non-speall caster (Champion) has none to begin with. If, however, a non-spell caster is changed to a spell caster, he.she will gain mana points accoring to the new skill. The game engine controls hit and mana points. If you, for example change an Archmage (fully developed skills) to a Master Archer, you will have a Mastr Archer with GM skills in all Elemental Magics and GM Light Magic. Your new character now can learn GM Chain,Bow, and Perception and will retain GM ID Item and all other Archmage skill previously learned. Hope this helps |
