If you do manage to get out of there, you will see, when you get to Cave#2 of THE VAULT (The "Test of Friendship"), why it is very improbable (if not outright impossible) to win that battle with one character. It is not just a matter of killing about 40-50 dragons and Hydras (including a mega dragon with 8500 HP), but more importatnly, keeping your 6 teammates (who will join you for that battle) alive. If even one of them is killed YOU LOSE!
