Have Gate Master NPCs been disabled? I'm in Nighon I haven't been able to find one.

Also my knight has expert merchant, body building and identify item even though I have never put any points in those skills. He shouldn't even be able to learn identify. I did pay for body building and merchant on EI. I'm wondering when the game gives these skills to you?
