It makes you think twice about some situations and prepare better developed and stronger parties. I always play Iron Man rules and so never play low level, speed, or solo games and try to maximize party development. Score means absolutely nothing to me. My very first MM6 game (10 or so years ago) took nearly 8 game years to complete!
