I mean reward. I usually playing with Magic oriented party. MM8 quest is usefull (very usefull) if playing solo with Vampire, because of Artifact -Dager.
To continue about Soul Jars. In Tunnels it is easy to get them with proper weapons. With Blasters, for example, you can clean these tunnels very quickly. Gloaming bit different. Pain Reflection could kill entire party in one blow, particularly low level party. And other spells also are painfull. You should hunt almost every necromancer and lich. That is interesting.
