BDJ put it there especially for very experienced players who wanted an extra special challenge . . BTW the respawn rate for the monsters in the patch will be changed to 15 days in the final release (as it is now they will respawn if you leave the area). Don't forget to request and apply the patch (events.lod) before you reach end-game as the quest will not work in Rel3 without it. BDJ will send it to you on request and he gave an e-mail address for that purpose in his blog.
