howevfer i agree it does need to be fine tuned. However i find it is impossible to as you say give the paladin GM body but not GM spirit there is something in me which goes against it although "realisticly" it is possible that the paladin was an expert healer yet not to in-touch with his spiritual side for some reason the thought of allowing him to GM one self magics and not the others bugs me...Must be my OCD  .
