I've just heard that Gary Gygax, the grandfather of RPGs and the co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons, has died at the age of 69. I think it's fair comment to say that without him, it is unlikely that we would be in these Taverns now. So next time you're at the bar, hoist a glass in his memory, maybe a pint of Gary Gygax memorial ale. Elf, the Taverns need their brewmaster! |
