… the same thing happened to me when I didn't play for a long time. Luckily, I looked over my NPC's and there was the Golem Head.

If you remember where the 'Bad Golem Head' is located (in the chest in the Bracada Town Center, where all the transporters are) then don't even open that chest at all. That way you won't have to discard it & the "Judge" won't keep trying to give it back to you if you click on the "I Lost It" option.
