'Severance Blade of Darkness' Amazon class was fighting with spears
and also in 'Wizardry 7-8' Valkyrie class also spear-armed with bonus for it.
On Pirate though it's a debatable somewhat matter-for ,imo, medieval swords ,of the knights, were extremely heavy implements designed to destroy heavy-armoured opponents,while Corsairs fought with mock-sabres,being almost un-protected .
But such debates are irrelevant for even if can implement new classes we must be able to pull into all that promotion thing.
So it would be Pascal or Otter who could advice on fixing it into the game.
But I think people would be happy to have new classes and promotions - your idea?
