I liked Koch better because my own horoscope makes more sense to me with Koch than Placidus. I get two inconjuncts to the midheaven with Koch (Neptune and Pluto). I have a hard time explaining this quality using Placidus. Interesting that yours comes out the opposite; I guess that's why both of them remain popular.
