When the TK spell didn't work for you (in MM8), were you playing a solo character? I think I might have been. Maybe the problem described in the post above was at work in MM8 with respect to TK if that was so? Because like described above, when I cast it, I got the sound and the decrease in mana, just no effect. BTW, are you still having the problem - in current games, or have you saved the offending game? If so, maybe this could be tested out? (I don't have my bad game anymore and the installation on my newer computer seems to have fixed it - or else I haven't tried using TK with a solo character yet).
