It's a different species of kreegan. In mm6 kreegans can write and speak human language and can also fly and they have superior engineering skills (the hive was built from an unknown metal and looked hi tech). In mm7 the kreegan base is made out of fleshy material and it is uncertain if anybody besides Xenofex can write human language. (I found the letter in temple of baa in Avelee written by Xenofex) My guess is that there are different of species of kreegan on the planet. They all landed in Sweet Water, but slowly spread across. Some traveled to Erathia and tried to establish the baa cult there, but it did not work out well. I have also discovered an interesting thing. In mm6 there is a bunch of letters written by Zenofex who seems to be the leader of the kreegans of Enroth. In mm7 Xenofex is the leader of the kreegans of Erathia. Their names sound the same, but are spelled different. I wonder is the Zenofex from mm6 the same Xenofex that you have to kill in mm7 or are they two different individuals. In mm6 you have to kill the Devil Queen at the end of the game not Zenofex from the letters. I was thinking that Zenofex and Xenofex is the same person and he is the leader of the Kreegans of Enroth and Kreegans of Erathia, but I could be wrong.
