I'm a bit confused as to why everyone's talking about Spear as an option now though, I didn't even consider it.

What about the spear's enchantment though, doesn't it shift things in favor of the complex monk? While the Unarmed monk already is as good as he can get item-wise with Hands of the Master? (I don't even know Hands of the Master exactly does since I didn't find it so far)
