Thinking particularly of MM6, can you think of any other computer game that old which still has people posting about it with the regularity that we see in these taverns? And there are other sites out there devoted to the MM games which are still active. There are Flamestryke's sites, Tennessee Ernie Ford's, Magic Grounds, Mandate Mania, M&M Portal in France, Might & Magic World in Germany, and I've seen mention of sites in Polish and Russian. And we mustn't forget Castle Gobs and the nascent MM Tribute game.

Further, some people are still hunting for copies of the earlier MM games, playing them, and posting about them. There's Mighty Magician's site in Japan, not to mention the "Shrines" on the RPG Classics site.

And for each of the sites I've mentioned, there are probably at least a dozen more that I've never looked at, all over the world. If you google for Might & Magic and strip out all the hits on Heroes of..., you get over 42 million hits. It's too early to say yet whether the Might & Magic games will attain the legendary status of Zork and Crowther & Woods' original game, Colossal Caves, but at present they seem to be getting there.
