...for MM6, the maximum is 13 acquired randomly, plus the 5 placed artifacts. However, sometimes the game quits giving you artifacts or relics when you're well shy of 13 - even when you've carefully avoided collecting any of the placed artifacts. For MM8, you can in theory get them all, but I don't know if anybody's ever done it. |
