. . .was one of the few that could be played solitaire, according to an old Wizards of the Coast (pre card games) catalog I received 'way back when. They were out of stock when I tried to order it, but it must have been prior to 1981, when we got our old Atari 2600. I was hooked on a solitaire strategy RPG boardgame called Ambush in the 70's. (This, incidentally, was what got me started on RPG's. I would have dearly loved to play a real role-playing game with real people, but by then I was 'way beyond college age, working full time and trying to be a housewife and mother of two rebellious teenagers. No time to tootle down to our local university and hunt up a bunch of strangers to play games!) Atari's Adventure game further nudged me along the path of RPG/adventure/strategy.
