I have a ~100pages .DOC file named that in my "documents" folder - some Russian fans collected and translated all information from cluebooks, manuals and in-game dialogues of all mm games, including all CRON-VARN-Terra-Xeen-Enroth-Axeoth history (MM1-9, Homm1-4) and the history of Elemental Planes and wars, Tarnum's life (all 8 parts of Heroes Chronicles.. btw I like them much more than original HoMM3 campaignes) etc etc. I wonder if an English version of such "mm history" exist. Actually this is possible to collect all that info again or to ask translators to give all their untranslated knowledge database if they still have it... Craig Hack and Sandro are the most interesting and old characters. And do you remember Zom and Zam from MM1? Launch HoMM2 right now and play with Necropolis. You'll see them there I always liked MM series for the powerful storyline and characters, migrating from one storyline to another. Of cource it's not so organized and difficuilt like in Tolkien's "Silmarillion", but it's really fantastic anyway. BTW, there's some strange thing about Craig Hack - in MM1-2 he seems to be "human", in MM3 he's a dwarf, but in HoMM3 he is a human (barbarian) again o_O

I always liked MM series for the powerful storyline and characters, migrating from one storyline to another. Of cource it's not so organized and difficuilt like in Tolkien's "Silmarillion", but it's really fantastic anyway.
