I do know that the first Heroes of M&M was an outgrowth of King's Bounty. (A little later) yes, you're absolutely right. Might and Magic was the grandaddy of them all, and debuted in 1984. King's Bounty didn't come along until 1989. I guess I'm still keeping my ancient old copy of KB around for sentimental reasons. Lord knows I can't play it on any computers we have around!
