Which is not to say there may be some other site out there that's better that I might like more; I just haven't run across it. It still doesn't come up to the comprehensiveness of Flame's site, though. As the page owner says, it's no longer being maintained, but the information is still up for people to use. Schedules, maps, character info, etc. VI is the longest of the three games - I enjoyed it for that fact alone; I thought it was never going to end (which was a good thing), although when it did end, it was rather abrupt. Biggest difference for me: No invisibility spell. I was going to try to do VI as a no-kill game, but I don't know that it's possible. Invisibility keeps monsters from converging on you; without it, they can get in your way so badly that you can't even move without killing them (even if you can tolerate the pounding they're giving you). Be sure to get Mok's patch before you play it so you can use the armor and shield skills without the attendent bugs. And so you can get to a couple of heretofore denied areas. |
