This is propbably a Motherboard issues. I have gone through many interations of installing MM6/7/8 on XP. Some systems it installed and ran fine. Others it would install and not run at all. Then I got Mok's patch and got it to run on my last system. I just got a new PC last week and now even Mok's patch will not cure it.
