I had a hard time figuring out how to get MM8Che to work too - I wasn't seeing any save game files. But then I figured out what was the matter: It was looking in the MM7 save game folder, but it was looking for MM8 save game files (which have a different file extension). To get it to find the MM8 save game files, all I had to do was add an extra "I" to the path (to make MMVIII instead of MMVII). And then it found them. Probably just a cut-and-paste error from the programmer.
