That's what I get for trusting the documentation. I just went to test it before saying, "Huh? Armsmaster only works with weapons." It turns out that, when using the Unarmed skill, Armsmaster improves your attack bonus and your recovery time, but not your damage. So yeah, go ahead and put some skill points into Armsmaster. As for stacking skill bonuses, that only happens in certain cases. Items "of Arms" won't stack together, but Wallace (for example), a sword which, among its powers, grants +10 to Armsmaster, will stack with other bonuses to Armsmaster. The bonuses from the Armsmaster and Weaponmaster NPC's will also stack with those, and with each other (but not with themselves -- two Weaponmasters will do you no good). The same goes for Unarmed. Items "of the Fist" don't stack with each other, but the Unarmed bonus from Hands of the Master (which the game treats differently) stacks with them. BV |
