,,, that the saves are in FAT32 format, and your WIN XP (you are running XP now, right?) computer is running on a NTFS hard drive. If you still have a running WIN98 CP,,that's running on a FAT16 or FAT32 formatted HD,, then try this.....

1. Load MM7 onto the W98 machine and restore the saves to that installation. Fire up the game and see if they work. If so, try this...

2. Format a stiffie on the XP machine...then take that stiffie to the W98 machine...copy the saves to that stiffie. Now take that stiffie back to the XP machine and load the saves onto the XP machine MM7 installation. See if it works.

3. If the above works, it would be near miraculous, so Enjoy!

4. Then again,, you could always start from scratch!
