To item 2: I did not mean to suggest that the chance to hit was completely independant of the opponent's AC. Sorry if I was unclear. What I was saying is only that, if the formulae at http://www.angelfire.com/nt/bones/chance.html are accurate (and they may not be, or may be different in MM7 versus MM6) that even in the limiting case - an opponent with an AC of 1 000 000, say - your chance to hit should never go below (10 + attack bonus)/100, that is, what Bones describes there as the first swing. AC only enters the picture after that initial check. What I am saying is that this does not match up with my experiences. And actually, now that I look more closely, Bones agrees; he says on that page that there don't appear to be any further benefits beyond an attack bonus of +60. So there's the answer to that question, anyway. So at this point all I do by raising my Monk's Unarmed skill is cause her to deal even more damage (she's already at 100+ per successful attack).
