I've just started using an ergonomic keyboard. The old key mapping is now inconvenient. I set "land" to "H". After that point, hitting "H" brought up the History book, and then landed me. I changed "land" to "O". Then, hitting "O" brought up the History book (and then landed). No matter how I remapped, the History book remained activated by my "land" key. So I set "land" (and thereby History) back to "H". I went into the registry editor, and changed "land" to "P". It worked! History stayed on "H" and "land" works with "P". Presumably, you can do the same thing. Since it sounds like your "rest" key is following your "attack" key, set them to the key that you want to be "rest". Then (while the game is not running) use the registry editor to change the "attack" key according to your preference. BV |
