I just had an idea for a party of characters with the names of (your favorite) politicians/political figures/pundits. For instance, you might have a party consisting of G.W. the paladin, Condi the Cleric, Cheney the Thief (or maybe have him as a Knight or something), Karl the Sorcerer (maybe make him a dwarven sorcerer?) - you get the idea. And depending on your political bent, some of the promotions should be pretty funny depending on whether or not you are choosing the Light or Dark Path. There are other combinations as well. You could have Algore the Zombie (pick any class, have an evil party, and get him killed and then reanimate him), or Algore the Druid, Bill the monk (a subtle irony is in play here), something involving Madeline Albright, etc.
