This time, I helped the humans but didn't do the trophy quest, the humans won the war, but there is no tapestry. #1: What if I help the Elves but don't get the trophy, will the elves win without tapestry or will the humans always win if I don't do the trophy quest? #2: What happens to the tapestry if I give the trophy to the arbiter? Who will win the war in the history book?

And on a side note about the tapestries: I'm purely EVIL, a solo Lich, but when I returned to harmondale after putting my soul in bottle the tapestry turned from the Red Devil Skull into the Blue Alchemy/Spell tapestry. I suspect that's because I've visited the wizards' proving grounds, but I've never before seen this happening. Is this a bug speific for my game, or is it universal?
