...according to the game code data files, Bards and Diplomats aren't hireable in any of the map locations (the game will not create Bards or Diplomats as random peasant hirelings). I'm not sure if this is simply erroneous information, or if there's some special catch (I know that there are Bard NPC's (you have to talk to Ailyssa the Bard on Emerald Isle, but she's not hireable) but I don't think the game spawns any hireable NPC Bards or Diplomats.) If anyone has, please let me know, as this is central to the charts I'm developing for Hireling locations.
