Like the last poster (whose name I forgot already  ), certain monsters will certain races or classes. Your dwarven cleric will get targeted alot because she is a dwarf and shes a cleric. Any monster thats undead or a necromancer or anything associated with the darkness will target your cleric, and goblins and other assorted creatures will attack your dwarf. Humans will attack Elves, as will Elves attack Humans, and dwarfs and a couple other monsters will attack goblins. I don't know about the classes though.
