Reanimating is my favourite spell in the MM series. You can turn things to stone, make them kill their friends and shrink them down to ant size, but reanimating brings them back so they can die in creative ways forever! I see you like creating a 'zoo' of undead creatures in your castle hall like me. When they fight eachother, I think it could be the fact that Inferno Bats and Lighting/Fire Rats shoot Fire/Air projectiles that are intended for the enemies that come up in a sleep encounter, but tend to hit other animals and causes them to be hostile (to eachother). Then it starts a 'blood feud' until you leave the area, but I have no idea if these fights continue when you return, it's been so long since I made a zombie zoo! IIRC Wizards summon Light Elementals and Water Elementals- they can summon Elementals according to their ability, such as Sorcerers summoning Lesser Light Elementals and Archmages bringing up Greater Light Elementals. All the wizards I come across have just been run past, so I didn't find any time to study which ones summon Waters. Come to think of it, why do the energy attacks of Archmages, Robert the Wise and all other energy-damaging creatures come up in the ID Monster section as Earth attacks? |
