How come Tolberti/Robert the Wise and the Blaster Guys in the Temple in the Bottle can Eradicate Party members (without GM Prot Magic) in seconds sometimes?

When the party uses blasters, howver, this does not happen. You must always take them down to 0 HP before they die.
