That is, my thoughts pertain to dirt, in the geological sense: I think Druids alone should GM in Earth magic and should also have beginning Light magic; Rangers should have M in Earth magic.

Sorcerers should only have E in Light Magic, if even that, but also should gain E Mind magic.

I think it would be cool if Monks could select one of the Self magics to M in, but only one. Or they should get B in both Light AND Dark magic, regardless of path selected, but at the expense of any Self Magic. Obviously there would be no way to do this without editors, or unless you are playing MM7 on paper.

Similarly, Master Thieves should have only one Elemental spell set, but they should be able to Master it.

Archers, only M in Air and Fire.

I think Clerics should be able to access Light Magic at a B level prior to any promotions, but of course, it would be impossible to get prior to the Walls of Mist quest.

I think that Black Knights should have B level Dark magic, if only they had some MP.

Every 5 points of Perception for an Expert or above should give a +1 bonus to Mind Magic. Air Magic should similarly benefit the Bow skill. Also I think a higher rank in Air Magic should heighten the effects of "Jump", at least somewhat. By the way, you look great.

Those are my thoughts, at least, my thoughts on this matter, today*.
