If you're a melee queen like I am, paralyse will be your new saviour. And if you went with the dark path (which I mostly always do because, well.. I guess I'm innately evil, and the spells do so much more damage aka dragon breath), just stop at the wand-o-matic and pick yourself up a wand of paralysis or three. I've never had any luck re-charging a wand of paralysis, btw - even with GM water. Do others have the same issue? I end up with one measly charge.
